Positive Self Image: 
It is very important that the salesperson thinks of himself as an expert in power selling. He should realize that he is equipped with knowledge which would help him in improving his prospects. It is very important that he believes in himself.

Visualizing Success: 
Jonathan James Tichich says that it is very important for the salesperson to visualize himself as a successful power seller. This would instill positivity in the person and propel him towards success in his chosen field.

Address the client in the most personal way:
It is always helpful to get sales, if you speak to your client in a familiar way by addressing him/her by their first name. This will give a personalized touch to the meeting and make the customer more forthcoming.

Having full faith in ones ideas: 
According to Jonathan James Tichich, it is very important that the salesperson has full faith in his ideas. He should realize that the customers would always fall for an idea which would prove beneficial for them. So it is important that the salesperson does not see himself as a person selling a product. He should rather see himself as a person selling ideas to the customers.
